Our Process

Inspection of cerakoted items

Asses your items

When your items arrive with us, we thoroughly examine them, check for defects and ensure they are suitable to pass through our processes to achieve the desired finish. If for any reason we come across any issues, we will document these, take photographs and contact you as early as possible to discuss potential solutions. If no issues are found, we will proceed through our usual process.

clean and restore item before cerakote

Clean and correct*

Before any parts are blasted for coating preparation they will undergo a deep clean, usually in acetone. Once clean they are then safe to progress without contamination. It is at this stage we can begin any corrective work such as dent/scratch removal and welding.

*Depending on the level of corrective work that is needed, our lead time may increase.

Cerakote is applied

Cerakote

Once all corrective work is complete and we are satisfied that the part is ready, we will proceed to media blasting and finally the Cerakote application can take place. The blasting techniques we use here will vary depending on the part to be coated.

Precision engineering

We use a combination of state-of-the-art equipment coupled with artisan techniques, to correct your item to a near perfect finish.

If your item needs some remedial work then look no further.
